Upon awakening each morning, and while still in bed, the “Modeh Ani” prayer is said. The words begin with “I offer thanks…”, thereby starting the day with gratitude to Gd for our lives.
A series of overlapping circles, representing cycles, dominates this design. Within the top two layers, images of lush, vibrantly colorful flowers appear. These symbolize precious gifts of nature that we have the privilege to enjoy every day. A sunrise over water appears behind the flowers, marking the start of the say, full of opportunities. A blue swirling background represents the spiritual fabric and patterns of our lives, and Gd’s hand in orchestrating it all.
